GoEast is excited to announce a partnership with Kaixin Cooking, which will be offering a “Healthy Chinese” cooking class. This will be an exclusive class, limited to eight students so you can get the most out of this two hour workshop run by Chef Shiyin Wang.
What’s on the Menu:
Tomato and Egg – Learn to make a well-known Chinese dish that Shiyin will teach in the all-natural way, without common additives like ketchup and sugar (made in the wok).
Sichuan Eggplant – A flavorful dish that showcases uniquely Chinese ingredients like Sichuan rattan pepper and broad bean paste. The tricky thing is not making this dish greasy, and preserving a firm seared texture in the eggplant (made in the wok).
Dongbei Tofu, Carrot, and Cucumber Salad – Learn the Chinese approach to salads, with a spicy and sweet light dressing and specialty tofu.
About Chef Shiyin Wang
Shiyin Wang is an American chef born in Shanghai. He founded Kaixin Cooking in 2018 to teach people healthy Chinese cooking. His cooking style comes from his family and from his cooking experience in California and New York. Shiyin’s goal is to blend traditional Chinese flavor with modern healthy eating principles.
About Kaixin Cooking
Kaixin Cooking is a hands-on cooking class. Our specialty is healthy Chinese food. In each class, we work together to cook three dishes and eat lunch together. Our goal is to teach everyone the concepts and practices of healthy eating, so that they can live a healthier lifestyle.
