There’s so much educational content available on YouTube, with fantastic channels for adult learners, but for children as well. Here we list a few of our top recommendations, ranging from live classes for children to animations that’ll enhance their Chinese listening and speaking.

GoEast Kids — Learn Chinese for children

This is a fantastic way to get educational content from top teachers, teaching your child as if she or he is in a live class. Of course, there’s no direct feedback on pronunciation or word usage (unlike live classes), but it’s a fantastic way for your kid to learn vocabulary and how to make sentences. Join Vinny and Mika on adventures with a curriculum based on GoEast Mandarin’s full Chinese courses for children.

Little Fox

This channel has hundreds of songs and stories for kids, and they’re very educational as well. The stories and Chinese songs for kids may not be stimulating for adults, but for kids they’re fantastic. There’s also plenty of long content (above half an hour) to keep your kids engaged while they’re learning Chinese on YouTube.

A Little Chinese

Another great YouTube channel for kids! They have videos in Traditional and Simplified Chinese so make sure you pick the correct one (most are uploaded twice).

Rock ‘N Learn

The animations are a little bit dated but maybe that’s something only adults will notice, not kids. Rock ‘N Learn is a fantastic YouTube channel for kids with content on vocabulary with pictures and sometimes some sentences. Their most popular videos have been watched millions of times already!
