Instagram occupies our days, but like movies, you can make this entertainment feel a little less guilty with some educational content. So here we list the best Instagram accounts for learning Mandarin Chinese, both for adults and kids.

Functional flashcards on Instagram
There are hundreds if not thousands of Instagram accounts out there for adult learners. Some are super informative (and a bit bland if we may say), such as HSK Level, but also like Dong Chinese, which also shows the origin of the character for you to better understand. Similar accounts are ChineseClass101, or Everyday Chinese.
Daily videos
There are dozens of “Chinese with X” accounts out there. One of the most popular ones are “Chinese with Jen” and “Chinese with Vicky“, or LanciDictionary and Sabine Hui. These Instagram accounts are very personal so it’s nice to have a sort of friend to learn Chinese with!
Kinderen
We’re a big fan of Emma (Lahlahbanana) because she’s very rigorous in analyzing different study resources for her three kids, and shares her experiences and thoughts on her Instagram.
