Olivia graduated from Huaiyin Normal University with a bachelor degree in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, and then she obtained a master degree in teaching Chinese from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. Since 2015, she has been tutoring foreign students to learn Chinese. Meanwhile, in 2020, she spent seven months teaching Chinese at the Confucius Institute in Bolivia. She can play the Erhu and also likes Chinese calligraphy, dance and Chinese painting.

    GoEast Mandarin has been offering online Mandarin lessons to thousands of adults since 2012 and offering Chinese language lessons for kids since 2014. We’re a Mandarin school in Shanghai and online, with a great reputation among teachers & students.

    In our Chinese courses for children, we focus less on grammar (compared to adult classes) but lead your child through conversations, games, puzzles, and activities, developing an intuitive feeling for the Mandarin language, so kids can become conversational and learn Chinese online.

    Wat mag mijn kind per niveau zeggen?

    Totale beginner niveau 1
    Hier introduceren we het Pinyin en de meest elementaire woorden en tekens aan uw kind: Hoe haar of zijn naam te zeggen, familieleden en hun leeftijd. En de tijd, dier ook inbegrepen.

    Totaal beginners niveau 2
    Hier bouwen we op basis Chinese woorden en zinnen (inclusief karakters). Hier kan uw kind praten over vervoer, bezigheden, het leven in Bali, het weer en winkelen.

    Beginner (3 & 4)
    Op beginnerniveau (vergelijkbaar met YCT3) kunnen kinderen meer in detail praten over het schoolleven, zoals de school waar ze naartoe gaan, welke lessen ze leuk vinden op school, de stad waar ze wonen en hun vrienden. Ze kunnen een echt gesprek in het Chinees beginnen, zij het op beginnersniveau.

    Elementair (5 & 6)
    Op het elementaire niveau kunnen kinderen een volledige conversatie voeren, ook al hebben ze nog niet veel woorden in hun woordenschat. Maar in essentie kunnen ze praten over gewoonten, hun persoonlijkheid, en het sociale leven, zoals gezondheid, wetenschap en technologie, en milieu

    Intermediair (7 & 8)
    Een intermediair niveau voegt gewoon meer details toe aan het hele elementaire niveau, of het nu over het weer gaat of over hun hobby's. Kinderen hebben veel meer vertrouwen in het voeren van een gesprek van begin tot eind, en hebben geen moeite om het gesprek gaande te houden. Bovendien kunnen kinderen een eenvoudig verhaal lezen en begrijpen.

    Bovenbouw (9 & 10)
    Er worden steeds meer abstracte termen geïntroduceerd. Kinderen kunnen verschillende culturen vergelijken en welke soort tv-programma's, of welke soort vakantie. En waarom? Uw kind kan zeer gedetailleerd antwoorden en zowel de fysieke als de emotionele aspecten van een onderwerp beschrijven. Bovendien kunnen kinderen het verhaal lezen en begrijpen, zoals Chinese idiomen verhaal.

    Op dit taalniveau (alleen gezien vanuit een taalperspectief) zou uw kind theoretisch in China kunnen studeren of werken.

    Gevorderd (11 &12)
    Hier kan uw kind in principe converseren op een moedertaalniveau. Hoewel specifieke onderwerpen onbekend zijn (we geven een voorbeeld: luchtvaarttermen), is uw kind vrij om zich vrij uit te drukken over elk onderwerp of mening, of het nu abstract of heel concreet is. Bovendien kunnen kinderen het artikel lezen en begrijpen, zoals het Chinese cultuurverhaal, Daily News, enzovoort.
