Private Chinese Lessons in Shanghai

Excellent teachers, online and in person. Effective, efficient, and filled with humor. They are incredible at answering questions, thereby tailoring each class to the students wants and needs.

Great and fun mandarin class! GoEast teachers are more than willing to help you out with any problems. They are professional teachers and your good friends. You can feel that feel that the class is well prepared and adjusted to match to your interests.

The best Mandarin school in Shanghai!

GoEast were easily the most flexible with my classes under their student visa package, allowing me to structure my classes how and when I wanted. I combined books, online courses and private lessons, and have now been with them just under 2 years. I don’t do a lot of lessons, maybe one every 2 to 3 weeks on average, but that combined with self-study has allowed me to become proficient enough with Mandarin to communicate and do business with Chinese businesses and suppliers. I could not recommend GoEast highly enough to anyone out there, they are really good at helping you tailor a program to suit your needs and not trying to push you into a cookie cutter program that suits them.

If you want to learn Chinese in the most effective and fun way, Go East is the place to be. The teachers there are absolutely great, both as teachers and as people. They are not only your teachers they are also your friends. And the whole atmosphere inside the school is very friendly. Go East is more than a school. It’s a place where people from all over the world can connect and become life long friends. You will feel at home there even though you are maybe thousands of miles away from your home country. That’s how I felt. And that is very important when you are in the process of learning that you feel good so you can focus on the task at hand. The teachers are also very professional and intelligent and teaching Chinese is their true passion. I am very grateful for my time with them. 谢谢你们!

Where i was the first time visit Shanghai my girlfriend has a friend in the school. So we deceide to go and visit the school. First my minds was a school really? But where we at the school i was wondering. I had the chance to meet so much nice students there from all over the world. The teachers talks with them very good chinese. I had classes in Go East last year and my experience couldn’t be better! The amazing teachers not only encouraged us to learn Chinese language, but also gave us many interesting insights inside Chinese culture. My experience in Go East was very complete, as we had the opportunity to learn in classes and many cultural activities. The teachers are very experienced and motivate us to study hard and have lots of fun! I recommend Go East to anybody interested in learning more about China

Thanks to the great teachers one is able to learn Chinese super fast. I would never have imagined that for my own process as Chinese was completely new for me.
A big plus at GoEast is also the social life. Everyone is super nice to each other and it’s so much fun. Weekend trips, KTV, Christmas, … Great!
